NFV Commercial vCPE: Emerging Business Cases Including SD-WAN
WEBINAR ON DEMAND
Around 10 service providers have deployed new enterprise vCPE NFV-based services, also referred to as vE-CPE, in live networks to date. Most include services that are offered to customers via a self-service portal such as Ethernet connectivity, IP VPNs, firewalls, SD-WAN, and WAN optimization. AT&T, Orange Business Services, Colt, Level 3, and Masergy are among the leading operators that have experience moving from the labs and PoCs into commercial deployment. Providers are struggling with the IT aspect of not only the server, storage, and switch technologies, but also with operations responsibility and VNF execution. It's not easy to develop a solution when multiple vendors software is mixed and matched to create a set of automated services for enterprise customers. All these factors and more affect the business case. This webinar focuses on the emerging business cases, delving into what works and what doesn't.
